The Works NYC is a boutique, female owned fitness studio in Chelsea specializing in female body transformation through private and semi-private training and nutrition. Our staff and members are a family and support each other through our respective fitness journeys!


Our mission is to challenge the status quo of women’s fitness in NYC by empowering 100 women to reach their fitness goals through our integrated weight training, HIIT and sensible nutrition programming by the end of 2018. #100WomenStrong

Our purpose is to teach women that weight-training doesn’t make you bulky, but instead, changes the shape of the body and creates lasting change.


To provide next-level support to in-house Team and clientele. To achieve monthly sales targets so that our #100womenstrong mission is fulfilled by the end of 2018.

  • Helping to maintain our client base and keep churn below 5%
  • Maintain a sales closing rate of at least 80%.
  • Complete minimum of 12 sales consults/month

These are the skills you must already have to qualify for this position:

  • Sales: Previous sales experience in fitness industry
  • Microsoft Word. You must be very comfortable using Word.

  • Microsoft Excel: You must have basic Excel skills. We don't do anything advanced with this software, just some simple spreadsheets, but must be comfortable doing what I need you to do.

  • Microsoft Power Point: You must have basic Power Point skills.

Good phone personality/etiquette: You will be talking with our customers, who are VERY important to us, and prospective customers, who are also important. You must be comfortable conversing on the phone, in person, and through email. You must know how to conduct yourself professionally, take clear messages and deliver clear instructions to the prospect or client. You'll be taught the ropes and we will teach you everything you need to say and do, but we can't teach you manners and professionalism.

  • Writing skills: A great deal of your work will be via email. You need to be very comfortable and proficient with organizing and composing emails.

  • Thoughtfulness and organization: We need you to be able to think for yourself and be organized. We are very serious about this one. We do not want a robot, we want someone who learns and grows with us.

  • Social Media. You must be proficient in Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. Will train the right person.

Bonus Skills:
If you have these additional skills, your resume will go right to the top of the stack (but if you don't have these skills, you should still apply because they are not mandatory).

  • Landing Page design

  • Infusionsoft or Active Campaign knowledge

  • Photoshop & editing
  • Social Media management
  • Proven fitness sales track record
