Edward Cruz, Private Trainer

Certification: NASM Training Specialties: Circuit training, weight loss, general conditioning, strength, flexibility, cardiovascular health What got you into training: A lot of my friends and family are overweight and make poor health choices. They’ve always gone and asked others for “tips” on how to be healthier and almost always get bad, generic advice that didn’t work for them. I wanted to be the one to guide them and others properly on how to live a healthier lifestyle. Personal fun fact: I love movies! My brother and I often quote entire scenes from movies and the other has to guess what movie it’s from. Favorite quote: “If you’re not making someone else’s life better, then you are wasting your time. Your life will become better by making other people’s lives better.” — Will Smith Education: Associates Degree in Computer Programming
Joel Collado, Private Trainer

Certification: ACSM Training Specialties: Strength and conditioning, powerlifting, body sculpting, interval training What got you into training: Exercise is one of few things that has provided me with the confidence and growth that’s made me who I am today. Life was tough, growing up with a fairly low self esteem in a rough neighborhood. Exercise helped to steer me into a positive direction at a time when I was surrounded mostly a lot of negativity. Growth of oneself is a powerful thing and I’ve always hoped to help others grow physically and mentally through exercise whether you’re running your first marathon or just want to look great at the beach. Personal fun fact: I am still an avid fan of Profesional Wrestling.  Favorite quote: “That which does not kill you makes you stronger.” —Unknown Education: 2 years of studying for an exercise science degree.
 Branden Hayward, Private Trainer

Branden Hayward spent four years as a top performing personal trainer at Equinox before beginning his own fitness business in 2015 and going to The Works Studio as a Small Group Trainer. He has earned multiple certifications from nationally respected strength training, physical therapy, and nutritional organizations in understanding human movement, diet, coaching, fitness programming, and more, but perhaps his most valuable skill is his keen and unique attention to detail, form and pace when coaching his clients. Branden's passion for what he does is evident in the energy, inspiration and gratitude he brings into each class he teaches at The Works.

Kiana Faust, Small Group Trainer

Certifications:  NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) Certification, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/AED Certification Training Specialties:  Group Fitness, Strength Training, Flexibility Training, Kettlebell Conditioning, In-home Workouts, High Intensity Interval Training, Youth Exercise Fitness Classes, Senior Fitness Bio:  Kiana is an early childhood educator and has been a private personal trainer since 2011. She has a particular passion for designing exercise and nutrition programs that maximize workout efficiency, improve fitness, increase stamina, and develop an overall sense of well-being. Personal fun fact: Kiana believes the most effective way to teach is through example--she is an avid runner, yogi, and weightlifter and guarantees she can lead her clients wherever they're willing to follow. Favorite quote: "Fitness is a lifestyle; train like there's no finish line."
